What was the worst last minute gift idea?

When I was younger and worked retail, I’d buy a lot of my gifts the last few days before Christmas.

It was slim pickings by that time but it’s what I did.

The worst was when everyone got CD crate holders for Christmas. Yeah it’s as unimpressive as it sounds.

The year my youngest sister eloped and I suddenly had a new brother in law I rushed out and bought a cheese log for him. I gave it to him on our way to Christmas services and he looked underwhelmed, but my sister told him that as services dragged on and we got hungry folks might very well be fighting him for that cheese log. 😳
