When do you open your gifts on Christmas Day?

In Australia, our main meal is typically lunch, so presents are usually opened after we eat. Curious how it works elsewhere.

I'm also in Australia. We open gifts in the morning as soon as we wake up.

If we celebrate with other people here in AU, after lunch. In my hometown, on Christmas Eve after dinner.

@GunFinger I guess it varies then but after lunch that way all the food and cleaning up has been done and it gives the chance for the mums to feel included as they are generally busy with food preparations. It’s good to know thanks for sharing .
