Have you Noticed?

Holiday traditions going by the wayside. I was at the outlet mall on Black friday. very few people in sight. We used to get the holiday sale fliers in the Thursday paper. No more. No more Christmas cards either.

Makes me kind of sad. Have you noticed anything going away that you miss?

Yes, I have. The Christmas mall shopping department store windows and Christmas cards as well as the family gathering around to make phone calls to other family members across the US on Christmas Eve. And so much more.

@WillaKissing did you have A & P stores in your part of Ohio? i used to go in there as a child and look at all the toys over the food sections and dream what i wanted.

@akindheart I do not recognize A&P but we had Children's Palace stores that were 100% all toys and the exterior was like walking into a Disney palace.
