I stopped celebrating Christmas for many years because it isn't the correct time of birth for Yeshua or a mandated Biblical Holiday, but we will celebrate this year. I finally decided that if I am celebrating his birth in my heart, then that is what the Holiday means to me, and there is something to be said for tradition. 🤷♀
@Journaling4Me That's exactly right. I don't think any should get hung up on the date as that would take away from the work of Christ to save souls and why we love and adore him.
The debate about Christmas' origins and meaning can get heated. Some people argue that Christmas has pagan roots, while others see it as a celebration of Jesus' birth. What matters most, is how you choose to observe the holiday and what it means to you. For many, it's a time for family, friends, and reflection.

@LadyGrace
Yes, it was (and still is in some quarters) a pagan festival of the winter solstice.
But it is also a fitting time for celebration of the birth of the Redeemer of fallen humankind.

@Thinkerbell I've been carefully examining all these aspects and I've learned a lot recently but I'll need time to share what I learned, but you're right on. It may take me a while, but I'll have to write a post on this. I'll let you know when it's finished. Thank you for this all important inclusion.

@Thinkerbell Many people have been asking me about things that have to do with Christmas. I'm about to put up an article, so please give me time to submit it. Thank you.
