For what I understand he was born in October early November maybe. It's just a commercial thing.
@Unquestioned
Perhaps the commercial thing for some. The Bible doesn't give the exact date, and I believe that was because they didn't want people to get hung up on the date and their focus off of Christ, and scholars are even saying it could have been in April, but that's not what matters. What matters is what Christ means to us, personally, in our heart, and how we choose to honor him and give thanks to him for salvation and Hope for eternal life in heaven.

@LadyGrace It's big business and they market it very well. It also has pagan origins; a lot of non- Christians celebrate it too. In saying that, I'm not disagreeing with you, it does mean something to devoted Christians like yourself. But from what I believe of Christians they should be honouring the father and the son every day. I'm agnostic, I celebrate Christmas to have a good knees up with friends.
@Unquestioned I love what you said here and it's honest. You know I'm contemplating some things about this very thing and I'm learning more. I want to devote my answer when I can give you the time and consideration you deserve, so give me time to answer this effectively. There's a lot more to this than meets the eye. Thank you for this important addition to my post.
