WooHoo! Christmas shopping achieved!

My GF and I have just finished shopping for each other…I bought and installed a bidet for her as well and got her some leggings she wants, and she got me a dremel kit. Gift shopping is so much easier when you can just ask each other what you want and order it on Amazon then and there 😂

But if you ask eachother what you want and knows exactly what you'll get, why are you not just buying it yourselves?

@Queendragonfly The act of giving still counts. And besides, we both have the sort of minds that have no problem spending money on the other, but really question spending that same amount on ourselves 🤷‍♂️😅

@Zaphod42 I see 😂

I once celebrated with an ex and his entire family who had this style of gifting. We went to stores, they pointed out what they wanted, we bought it.

They knew they'd get that glass bowl, but yet we wrapped it and everyone acted like no one knew what they would be getting once we sat there on Christmas eve.

It was the weirdest Christmas tradition I've ever experienced. Everyone was content and not a single suprised face.

To me the suprise is a big part of the Christmas tradition.

@Queendragonfly I can see that, and we do get little surprises for each other, but even then it’s things we heard the other day they wanted at some point. Christmas already had enough stress with trying to guess what friends and family would like…this takes some of that pressure off, and ensures we both get exactly what we want, lol

@Zaphod42 If it works for you both that's what matters. Clearly my ex family didn't mind it either.😂
