@iamonfire696 I say that fully knowing that I baked my own batch of christmas cookies this year and ate some. I'm a hypocrite. 😋 Seriously those look good. I don't havethe patience to make that many different batches of cookies. Though I do make an effort to do cookie baking with a friend or someone on a saturday sometime in December as a tradition. This year, I just made shortbread cookies and a cookie with dates and almonds. I'm not a great baker tbh. I used to make gingerbread cookies and decorated them extravagantly into different pop culture people and have them guess who it is before they eat, but that was too much this year.
I do have a fun New Year's/Christmas tradition of making Tanghulu. It's a neat adventure with kids too, for them to dip fruit on a stick as long as you help them. Sugar glass fruit is so fun and yummy and pretty easy to make as long as you have a candy thermometer
@iamonfire696 I just posted a story about Tanghulu actually. It's a 2 to one ratio usually of 2 parts sugar to one part water, that I've found works the best, if that's helpful.
Aw! Making awesome memories with the kids. :) I have fond memories of cooking with my mother and grandmother.
