A kid at school told my eldest Santa Claus isn’t real. I think we’ve got it contained, might get one more Christmas of her believing in the big guy.

So basically you lie to make your children believe that a fat man breaks into your house during the night to give them gifts? Bless that kid at school.

@MartinTheFirst I was counting down how long some soulless twat would pipe up with this.

Keep walking.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@WintaTheAngle You were counting because you know how little sense it makes.
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
@MartinTheFirst It doesn’t have to make sense to you. It makes my daughter happy and that’s all that matters. If you’ve you’ve got time to spare to argue with children who believe in Santa you’ve got nothing going on about you.

@WintaTheAngle I'm sure you could find something else that makes sense that would make her happy lol

@MartinTheFirst Go colour in grids on your computer screen.

@WintaTheAngle Was that supposed to be a jab at programming? lol
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
@MartinTheFirst No. Jabs are your thing. I’m saying go do what makes you happy and leave us to to the same.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@WintaTheAngle well that does not sound sincere and youre free to do illogical things if thats your thing, im just here to comment about it
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
@MartinTheFirst I’m sure to you it doesn’t. But I don’t consider that to be any of my concern.

@MartinTheFirst I agree, but I also feel that 'to each their own' in a rather important concept. I would never tell my kid that Santa was real, and I wouldnt even be upset if my kid told another kid that Santa wasn't real. But I would never begrudge another for choosing to raise their kid in a way that is neither abusive or negligent, and that they felt was best- even if I do not agree with it.
