When do you put your Christmas tree up?

For those of you who celebrate Christmas even do you put your tree up. As a child it was always the first week of December so I continued that. A bunch of my friends had their tree up before Thanksgiving. So tell me when do you put your tree up?

I used to do real trees, but I always hated the mess and limited span of time before they became fire hazards. I eventually went to fake trees and got to the point where I put it up somewhere between the 1st and 5th of December.
