I've just seen an advert on TV for Si perfume by Armani, apparently "for the holidays". It's a fucking Christmas present - and I'm not a Christian.

Is it a euphemism, or is it for a “season of holidays” ? There are three fairly big holidays: Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanza.

But, if the perfume is one you like, who cares why you buy it? I’m not religious at all, but I love the spirit of Christmas and gift giving.
