The Dean St John's Cathedral wants words to Christmas Carols changed to reflect the state of the environment.
Silent night, Smokey night. We wish you a Steady Climate.
Instead of Joy to the World, Cool down the World.
I suppose they are at least trying to bring attention to World Affairs

This would be a fascinating social experiment. See who goes to the Christmas concert, which is probably dubbed The Seasonal Hiatus in Global Warming When We Glorify Mythical Human Creations.
