So...

I asked God whether I could confess my feelings to my crush on Christmas day. And I have a box with tiny paper slips with Bible verses written on them.
I told God if it's a no from him, let the verse have the words no, or not or didn't or never... you get the drift right?
And the verse I picked up was "No one is saved without faith" or something. I don't know what the verse was. I got my answer in the first word.
And then, I asked, "God then whennnnn???" And I picked a slip again and the verse was "Everything that is hidden will be brought to life."
Sigh. I know I will not make a move until I have got the green signal from the higher power. It won't be until Christmas, I guess.

You can’t use God like a fortune teller or ouiga board, choosing papers or signs. He doesn’t work that way. He moves as He sees fit. His timing is right. I’d just pray for God’s will to be done in this matter. The doors will either open or not. I’d let the man take the lead. If you get ahead of God, it won’t work out, anyway. Then you’ll be back to square one. Plus, you may scare the man off. If the man is attentive at all, I’m sure he already knows your thoughts.

@LadyGrace I wouldn't use the bible as an Oracle either. I guess I was desperate... but I think I got my answer nevertheless.
God wants us to use the Bible as a wise and insightful counsel. He is the final authority, and way smarter and wiser than we could ever be. God said to seek His wise counsel, not leave our future to fate. What you’re practicing is like depending on something other than God to tell your future. Likened unto fortune telling or horoscopes.

Anyway, I do hope everything turns out just the way you want it to, and I hope you’ll be very happy, forever. @Heretodaygonetomorrow
