does anyone act know someone that celebrates kwanza

My son asked me earlier mom whats kwanzaa i said I've wondered that for years. I have never meet a black person that actually celebrates it. I know its an african american holiday but I dont think its commonly celebrated in the rural south

except kwanzaa is a celebration for black ppl. my son was taking an outschool class yest and a student mentioned his family celebrates it
