@4meAndyou Christmas as a kid meant something. family got to gather. kids playing in the hay loft. now it is who get the new car, diamond ring I am 84 today. seen things chang. most people now are glad to see the holidays pass.

@jackrabbit10 It has BECOME a day that is all about the gifts. And it shouldn't be that way. That's a lesson my SON has tried to teach ME.

@4meAndyou the meaning of Christmas is lost. now it's all about who spends the most, it is sad

@jackrabbit10 We would be better off it we all just went to church and listened to beautiful music, and came home and exchanged tiny little home made gifts.

@4meAndyou when I was a kid. it was the Christmas dinner that I looked forwards to. and my aunt and uncles come visit. bring their kids.

@jackrabbit10 Things have definitely changed. Kids are getting upset and crying when they don't get what they want...it's...NOT GOOD.

@jackrabbit10 I am taking food and a few FOOD gifts over to a friend who can't see to drive...then I will come home and cook my ham.
