What is your opinion on holiday spending do we really even need this stuff to be happy

I just like the coziness and warmth from the tree and the lights. My house is coziest vibes during Xmas season.

I love watching the magic in my kids eyes as they come out Xmas morning and see that Santa came

I don’t go crazy buying gifts for adults… sometimes I’ll make goodies or do something small/thoughtful. It’s all about the kids.

None of it is necessary
And it really depends on who you’re asking for whether it brings joy or not.

Personally I think it’s tragic.

I’ve made it crystal clear I want nothing from anyone for Christmas.

I just want good company and food.

Absolutely not. I like the fun of giving, but I hate the gratuitous means-nothing gifting. It’s only beautiful if there’s heart behind it.

I really do not need anything other than GOD, Jesus & The Holy Spirit to guide me, and it would be nice to have a New Car and Home to call "My own."

All these material things like sweaters, who-ha's, Do-Dads, and trinkets I do not need

I have so many clothes/things that are not are not being worn/used that it's time to start thinning them out.

I’m fine if Christmas didn’t exist but I do like the music and the idea of gift giving but not the commercialization if it all

Its a trap for money and we see people all the time spending money that they need on junk and doing without later or borrowing from family.
