Im thinking of the movie National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, did anyone have similar problems ???
A problem with decorating, Christmas dinner, maybe family issues ????

Well, yes, actually. But it didn't seem really funny. I made Christmas dinner. I roasted a 14 lb turkey, and made stuffing, and bought pastries for dessert. I cut the turkey up into white meat and dark meat sections, and bagged up the drumsticks and all the dark meat and made up bags to carry the food.
The plan was that I would bring Christmas dinner to a friends house. I got down to my car, and the car wouldn't start. I could not use my road service, because I only have two paid jumps, and I will need one of them in January when I get paid...so that I can drive to Walmart and buy a battery.
I called my friend, and told him that my car was dead, and that I would not be over. I also had to tell him that even if I got a jump today, there was no way he could count on my car to start tomorrow morning. I was supposed to leave here at 4:30 am, pick him up, and drive him on the first leg of his journey to the hospital for surgery. His sister was supposed to drive him the rest of the way.
He barely spoke to me. His voice became so low and depressed that I couldn't hear what he was saying.
I now have a 14 lb roasted turkey, and I will be eating turkey for a VERY long time.
