My thoughts go to all those, on SW or elsewhere on this planet that must celebrate this season alone.
My heart bleeds for those that have nobody to share this festive time or that have been victims of misfortune, death of a family member, a friend, an acquaintance, those that have no roof, that have lost everything and that are the forgotten ones of society.
In this time of plenty, let's show our recognition for what we have by being generous and giving a dime or to those that are in need. A dime will not kill you but it may save the one who receives it.
Merry Christmas to all whether you are a believer or not.

I am usually alone, day-in and day-out, and year-round.
I do not necessarily feel blue at any particular time, though, since one day is like another. I am not a big holiday observer, and am non-religious. I like Thanksgiving and the Fourth, though (except the LOUD fireworks).
More often than not, though, I find holidays annoying because often malls and many restaurants are closed! I have a day off and cannot do anything, but go to parks. But it is too cold now!
What bothers me more about this time of year is just the weather, and early sunset. At least we turn a corner on the sun in a few days. But winter still builds in. It is supposed to get cold this weekend. Ugh.

@JoyfulSilence Ikr...winter can be brisk and Pretty, but the occasionally frigid temps can ruin plans, and the occasional snow. Today I was going to use an awesome coupon for a lunch at a tasty place, but it started snowing and it's too messy to go. Ugh.

We have no snow not, but it is windy. Yet sunny with puffy clouds.
Tonight I think it is supposed to be 19. Ugh.
I am waiting for a table at a crowded restaurant and every time somebody opens the door there is an Artic blast!

I use to like being alone at the holidays. I'd make it happen on purpose
