@MsSwan not really
@Echambers101 My husband's family was like this, and he and all of his siblings are very bitter over it. They feel like their mother robbed them of their childhood. They still talk about it to this day.
Just a word of caution.

Food is the centerpiece of all celebrations anyway. Get each other things periodically anyway. Why only on Christmas?
Echambers101 · 26-30, M
@jehova i can get them things we just wouldn't celebrate Christmas among other holidays with the exception of Thanksgiving obviously

@Echambers101 yes that seems fine. Not sure why we celebrate a celestrial event as Christmas. Its actually the day (on the gregorian calander) when the brightest star in the ski begins to rise again on the horizon after 3 days of descent to its lowest point on the horizon. Its astrology morphed into religion, power and control. Has more to do with agricultural than anything.

Just so you know if you follow the Gregorian calendar for celebration of liturgies you will actually cover the entire Bible in a four-year period.
