Why Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday

Because regardless of whether you are friend or family, you're all gathered together as family.

I just wish it weren’t connected to the Pilgrims here.

One of my friends, who is Chumash, celebrates it as "Feast Day" and grew up with it called that. And basically it’s still celebrated with loved ones gathering for a great meal.

@bijouxbroussard Yes, I agree. For me though, its such a joyous occasion that I find it hard to think of anything other than familial happy experience.
