I'm hoping my Dad still likes me after today. I've been dreading Christmas, because

... I knew he'd hate how much weight I've gained!

😬

I thought to myself, "He's having a difficult time looking at me." Urgh. But, then I realized he doesn't he really look at my brother either. So, I guess he never really likes looking at his children. My brother isn't overweight. 🤷‍♀️

He doesn't believe anything I say though. I told him I have an addiction to salt. He said, "That's beer! I can tell by looking at you."

I hate to break the news to you, Dad! But, it's the food. He never believes me.

My brother came to my house afterward. He saw my table and said "OMG! You like salt so much you bring it to your coffee table?!"

And, my Dad said "Beer has TONS of salt in it!"

What? No it doesn't! The F???

My Dad is an intelligent man but sometimes I think he just says stuff to prove one point... especially if it's a point he's trying to prove to his children. I understand alcohol makes me hungrier but that's ALL ALCOHOL. Why didn't he believe me when I was thin? I always noticed the difference when I ate lots of sodium.

I guess, he doesn't look my brother or I in the eyes. So, what does it matter?
