Got in early applying for holidays

Booked three weeks off work from 29 January till 19th February.
Do you/did you give plenty of notice when wanting a break from work?

Used to be a minimum of four weeks it's now six due to the fact we're short-staffed and because of the nature of the work (close contact with clients) people can go down with anything from flu to covid at a moments notice
I usually had to give a minimum of 4 weeks notice when I was employed. Most notice I gave was nearly 14 months. But sometimes only 14 days.

I usually book in advance but our rotas are done very last minute, so often we are able to book leave at short notice.
I was a teacher… no such thing as applying for holidays.
They were when they were!

@SW-User Never wanted to to such cruises. Meat markets. Intense competition to win over the ladies. Not my scene. 🙂
