Memorial Day Weekend:

First, I wish that everyone has a fun, safe holiday weekend. My wife, three of our grandchildren, and myself are going camping. My wife is finishing her work week and is getting off early. Right now, I'm supposed to be packing because we plan on leaving at 3 PM. My wife and the kids call it camping, but I call it moving the house for a few days.

I will spend it alone relaxing on my forestry farm where I retired to from 27 years in the US Army. I have friends that I lost in war, and I will buy a 12 pack of Miller Genuine Draft Beer in bottles and pour out a bottle on the ground for each of my lost comrades as I toast them with a bottle of my own. I will pour out a bottle for those lost from Americas beginning to present day lost in combat/war veterans as I fish my pond in silent remembrance. And lastly a bottle to pour out and to toast my late son Joey (Suicide 10-21-2019 from his tour of duty at the age of 21). And then a bottle for all the veterans that committed suicide from/because of their service.

@maskedbandit Thank you, but please just honor those that we lost to have what we have today, just take a few seconds out in silnce to honor the lost because that is what Memorial Day is about.
