I Think This Might Be The Year When Gifts Of Food Will Become The Trend For Christmas Gift-Giving…

With looming food shortages due to food processing facilities being destroyed by fires or whatever and floods wiping out crops and stored grains etc.
Food baskets with beans, rice, potatoes & other staples. I don’t know how many are stocking up and trying to figure out what they need but it will get critical eventually.

@MrBrownstone I have stocked up on some canned veggies & fruit and pantry basics like beans and rice. Can make a lot of pantry meals with that. Also have a container of spices because beans or lentils on a regular basis needs to be seasoned up well and with different flavors for different meals or you will get burnt out on them. I have found some real bargains at the discount store (Amazon and other store returns) on some pantry items like cans of dry milk, cocoa mix, Mac & cheese etc…even gluten-free items I’ve gotten quite a few of those (and they are expensive in regular stores)
