Public Holiday today

Plus school holidays.
So if I plan to go anywhere quite I will have my work cut out for me as parents love taking their children out adventuring.
Last Thursday was Australia's "Day of Mourning" and I sort of forgot about the children thing.
I went to Ellis Brook to photograph Splendid Fairy Wrens.
On a normal weekday there might be two or three cars. On Thursday there were at least eighty cars parked along the roadside leading into Ellis Brook sixty foot waterfall carpark.
Children everywhere, a cacophony of voices. No Splendid Fairy Wrens in sight.
Hmmm, what to do, where to go?

Just a suggestion. If you can't fight the situation, then join the situation.

Kids need to learn as well. Might as well be the example and help them learn about what you love. 馃榿

@DeWayfarer Thing with that is, single male interacting with a child?
Showing interest in a child? The parent would immediately ring the police

@Gusman no, no, let the parents bring their kids to you not the other way around.

Kids will always ask questions from their parents. The parents are likely going to come to you with their kids.

You need to do something that kids will ask their parents about.

Setup a blind, that's sure to bring about questions from the kids to their parents.
I use those days to go where those folk would normally be
