The "Hispanic Heritage" month

Just a random 30days that starts in the middle of September and ends in the middle of October or something weird like that, America has decided to "celebrate" Hispanic people. It really grinds my gears!! As a Cuban and Panamanian woman darker skin is very underrepresented in this Hispanic "month"! They make everyone look the same and it's irritating. Like way to be inclusive but not though🙄

Ah well. It's actually been a great day so I guess I just gotta take the lemons and trade the for apples😊

@PhaqueYou What? I am American. I can have an opinion on American holidays if O choose to. A right given in this county so.....

And nothing's wrong with celebrating Hispanic heritage. I share that heritage and have noticed the lack of representation. Cuba is populated by people of African descent that make up over 50% of their people yet they are never represented in media. Same goes for many other countries
