The "Hispanic Heritage" month

Just a random 30days that starts in the middle of September and ends in the middle of October or something weird like that, America has decided to "celebrate" Hispanic people. It really grinds my gears!! As a Cuban and Panamanian woman darker skin is very underrepresented in this Hispanic "month"! They make everyone look the same and it's irritating. Like way to be inclusive but not though🙄

Ah well. It's actually been a great day so I guess I just gotta take the lemons and trade the for apples😊

One of my friends looked at me excitedly and was like "it's hispanic heritage month" when I told her I had no idea, she questioned if I was in touch with my culture enough lol

I don't know any hispanic person that celebrates Cinco de mayo or hispanic heritage month.

I think it's just an excuse for yt ppl to make tacos
