Thoughts on the freefall portion of skydiving?

I feel like I'm a psycho, and i only say that cause when i went skydiving for my first time it didn't meet my expectations at all, and i was highly disappointed tbh. The best part for me was touching a cloud. I don't get the hype of the free fall, it doesn't really feel like anything. Maybe that's also caused i expected to have a different feeling than i did, but still. Im hoping bungie jumping is what im looking for feelings wise.

If you did a tandem jump, which I'm assuming you did, doing a solo is much more enjoyable. You aren't going to get the same feeling strapped to another person as you would alone. Bungee jumping is enjoyable depending on where you do it but it doesn't compare to freefall..

@Ironhand It was a tandem jump, but i do wanna go enough to the point i can go by myself. Ill have different expectations this time for sure lol. And good to know on the bungee jumping, ty.

@Ironhand The first time I did , then solo after . We do it every year or two, because we are pilots as part of our agreement with each other .

@TexChik That's awesome. I thought I loved static line jumps but those HALO freefalls were beyond description.
