I think Graham was legit in what he believed, but it's always questionable with Christianity in America. Nixon on the other hand was a politician, so we all know a prerequisite to that is selling your soul just to fill out the application. 😅
Trust me, my friend, there's no such thing as "deserving" Heaven.
We believe religious leaders as though they were incapable of misleading us, either intentionally or unintentionally. Either way, we are responsible for ourselves.
Ask yourself, why do the Abrahamic religions promise riches in heaven of things only found on Earth, and those things only found valuable by mankind. The simple answer is the riches written of in scripture were to appease a group of people who would never attain wealth, but the promise of wealth in the afterlife would keep them from rebelling against the wealthy of their time.
If one is not of the mind that there are no Earthly riches where God is, and that God simply saying "I am" is an indication that where God is, there is only God, and that should be the most valuable goal to any individual truly seeking God.
