Edmonton will be fun to watch again. I like the changes they made on offense, but would have liked to see more focus on defense. Skinner and Campbell will be better than last year, especially the former, and Ekholm will do well in his first full year on defense. They will make the playoffs, and will have to perform better than they have in previous years. I'm looking forward to their season. Hopefully they don't have any significant injuries like the one that took Kane out of a big chunk of the season last year.

@windinhishair yes Ekholm for the full year will be great for the development of both Bouchard and Broberg. They will need some consistent goaltending. I think a Kane McDavid and Connor Brown line to start will be interesting to see.

@windinhishair if Kane can remain healthy each of those three should reach 40 goals. Looking forward to the start of the season to see what the third line will look like. Hoping they can turn a corner this year.

@Canuckle Hard to fault Kane for his injury last year. He isn't likely to have his wrist sliced with a skate again.

They will almost certainly be in the playoffs again. Then the season resets and they will need good defense and goaltending to win it all.
