@LoneVoice Owning a house is neither a luxury, being pampered, nor being spoiled rotten. If you personally don’t want to own a home that’s fine, but in the richest country on Earth [i]everyone[/i] should be able to own a home if they want to.
The point I’m about to make isn’t about video games, but bear with me a moment. Did you ever play Donkey Kong Country on Super NES? If so, remember how all the boss fights except the very last one were always set in a warehouse that was just stacked from the floor to the ceiling with bunches and bunches and bunches of bananas? Now imagine if sociologists were studying apes and the vast majority of the apes were malnourished because they didn’t have enough to eat, but then there was one ape that had ten of Donkey Kong’s banana warehouses. That’s more bananas than he could possibly eat in his entire lifetime. What would the sociologists think? How would that make any sense? You think that one ape worked a billion times harder than all the hungry apes? That’s what our out of control inequality is like here in America, and both the rich and the poor are worse off because of it. We’ve got enough “bananas” for everyone to eat (at least) three meals a day, but they’re all concentrated in just a few hands.
That’s why basic stuff like owning a home should not be considered a luxury!

@Theyitis] The problem with you liberals is that you think America is the entire world. Most people worldwide don't own their own home. Many don't even have a home other than a shack or a hut. Only in America is owning a home NOT considered a luxury.

So much for “America First”. This whole idea that Donald J. Trump is the defender of the little guy has always been one of the zaniest, most bass ackward notions to come out of the MAGA movement, and that’s saying something!
