In the interest of getting rid of politicians entirely?

Just saying given the availability of the internet direct democracy is attainable. I can't imagine their current behavior, across the board, is representing anyone's interest or desired action.

I feel your pain, but I’m afraid politicians are just a necessary evil. Someone has to run the government, even if it is a direct democracy. Anarchy has been tried and never lasts long. The best we can do is just elect half way decent politicians. And make sure you do your research instead of just voting for someone because of their political party or some slogan you heard on TV.
