Watching these skate videos has conjured an old memory

When I was a teen, my mom was friends with a 30-something couple. They liked me and my brother a lot so they always took us on outings with them. Once they took us to a roller rink.

The best part of the memory is when the woman (I'll call her Teresa) and I were seated on one of the benches around the rink, watching her boyfriend and my brother as they skated. Out of nowhere, her bf rolls up in his skates and holds out his hand to her and says shyly, "Hey, Teresa, wanna skate?" And gave her a little smile.

It was like they were teens again and he was all shy to ask her for a skate. 🥰 It was so cute and romantic. 💕
