How they speak. Vocabulary and tone in their voice. I can tell whether I can trust someone in the first couple of sentences.

It's not what they say, but how they say it. It's kinda like a pool hustler or any kind of hustler trying to hustle you out of your money. Too sweet a talk and they're out for no good. So goes for everybody, if they are not genuine, they speak differently.

No, but I go with the words they use. The words they use in typing is usually the way they speak, so while I'm missing the tone that tells me a lot, the words they use tell me just as much, it can just take a little longer to gage them.
For example, most of us can tell the men pretending to be young girls by the words they use.
