Do you never ever get electricity shut down where you live at?

The way people talk about the energy crisis make it sound like they will die without it.

Last time it happened I was sent home from work once the UPS battery was depleted. If it happens regularly, many offices will consider reducing the staff, I presume, or shut down altogether. Or finally we'll get solar panels installed on building roofs and parking lots?

@Elessar I work remotely and freelance. One of these days I'm gonna invest in am inverter. I had one when I was tutoring, but it was company property.

@basilfawlty89 Good luck. If I'll ever be able to purchase a house it'll strictly be independent, I've spend too much of my life already in these rat cages

@Elessar eh, my living situation with my landlord at the moment is utterly terrible. I can live with an apartment for now. I'll buy a house when I can afford it and it will likely be overseas as I'm kinda tired of South Africa.
