Far too many people mistake their arrogance for intelligence

Truth is, you don't really need to know anything to have an opinion. Without compiling evidence, reasoning is essentially just mental mast*rbation.

Intelligence is like vision or any sense perception.
When I have limited perception, there's a lot I miss - and only sometimes does other evidence reflect that something's missing.
To the extent that I cannot see, I literally can't know what I'm missing.
So arrogance is a form of ignorance and absence of thinking skills.
The brightest people tend to be very modest because they know how infinite the realms of knowledge and thinking are.
