I've noticed people's behavior when someone says something dehumanizing to black people vs anti-lgbt

I've been noticing this but just haven't talked about it but I noticed when some white kid says a slur about black people most people including some token black people brush it off like it's some kind of phase and say things like "he's just a punk that needs to grow up" but when someone says there's only two gender or that a person cannot change their sex they get treated like they're beneath second class citizens.

My point of the post is that the LGBT is more protected than black people. I also seen LGBT do racist things too, also if you came to this post to say the word "racist" is subjective or whatever because it "lost it's strength" you need to re-evaluate your thinking skills.

I think it's the other way around. Look at how openly homophobic and transphobic right-wing politicians and pundits are. The most they do when it comes to race is slight dog whistles. And even then, they have to also play the other side, saying lies like "Democrats destroyed the black family" and "Liberals are the REAL racists."

slight dog whistles
what do you mean by that? I don't remember this guy's name, he's some kind of football player, but he said something dehumanizing about black people and didn't get fired until his homophobic email got leaked that's one good example.

@BohemianBabe I completely agree with you. Society is still debating whether trans people even exist or not. I don't see the very existence of black people being called into question. Then again I don't think playing a back and forth game of "I'm more oppressed then you!' "No! I'm more oppressed then you!" is emotionally mature nor is it productive in any capacity.

@QueenOfZaun my post isn't about having a pissing contest on who's more oppressed. I am talking about people's attitude on racism vs people saying something disapproving of the LGBT.

I'd have to see what he said. I think society generally treats black people with kid gloves, so he might have said something innocent, but it still made people angry.

@BohemianBabe that's not always the case.
@Chickie Generally speaking, it is.

@BohemianBabe no it isn't don't defend people who say shit about black people like calling us slurs or saying that we all should've stayed being slaves or picking cotton or saying ignorant shit like we're prone to (whatever disease) or that we're all criminals and such.
@Chickie Who said black people should've stayed slaves?
Chickie · F
@BohemianBabe that was from a YouTube video I was watching about a kid who got killed from his ex but he said some awful things about black people
@Chickie Then he probably didn't have much of a following. When YouTubers with lots of viewers say things like that, they get deplatformed.

@BohemianBabe the video was a true crime channel talking about a kid that got killed by his ex and her goonies or whatever and it should him making those comments on his Facebook. His name was Seath Jackson
@Chickie So he wasn't actually well-known.
There are plenty of people saying racist things online, but when they get any kind of following, the mods notice them and they get deplatformed.

Whereas with homophobia and transphobia, that's not just allowed on social media, it's also the main stuff on right-wing media.
Chickie · F
@BohemianBabe the "homophobic" and "transphobic" stuff is actually what gets people banned which is why we avoid people like you like the plaque. SW is a good example of having racists here and take 3 or 2 years to ban their account.
