Would you feel creeped out?

I got an alert that a package had been delivered (to my apartment mailbox).
I would usually just stop by my mailbox after work but I have been in my place the last 7 hours so I decided to take a short walk to the mailbox.

When I got there, there was a guy who had apparently just checked his mail and got in his vehicle (right in front of the mailboxes)

I proceeded to go to my mailbox, and he's watching. He pulls out his parking spot, still watching.
My thoughts were, did he see where my mailbox is located, thus noting my address?

I get my package and head back to my apartment. I see him up ahead as he backs into his parking space, and watching me as I walk by.

I turned around as I rounded the corner to go to my apartment (in the next building) and sure enough, he's STILL WATCHING. I don't understand why males stare like this.

I do not live in sketchy apartments nor a sketchy neighborhood.

I'm not sure if it's because of past experiences but I feel a little creeped out.

I most certainly would be concerned if he wasn't living in the area.

This is why you actually should know your own neighbors. Ask them if they have seen him around before. Even in a good neighborhoods this should be a standard practice. Most especially in bad ones.

If he does not live in the area or lives in his car make a police department complaint. Preferably all together. They won't ignore multiple complaints all together at once. It looks bad on them.

@DeWayfarer i think he lives in the next building judging by where he parked. I let someone know.

@iamnikki Even though this is a gated community, we still get transients living in cars that go through the gates and use our parking spaces from time to time.

Especially late at night. Some here do work graveyard shifts and the gate takes a while to close after it opens.

@DeWayfarer yea, thats why I wasn't too concerned with living in a gated apartments. Folks can still get in. Guess i won't be walking to the mailbox anymore 😕. First time i did it and I've been in my place over a year
