What's the point of rules
Since we take so long to get rid of people who break them. If this is some kind of excuse about not having the manpower to handle the flood of reports then we should give the responsibility to someone who can. I'll even give up my personal account and allow myself to be tracked on a mod account that can't see names or other identifying info, then I'll sift through every single report and ban every violator, infinitely for those stubborn ones if need be, and I'd do it all for free.
You know what I say to the legal argument that gets brought up which keeps pedos here while many are fruitlessly investigated. I'd sue any government for expecting a vulnerable community like this to continue hosting them while they play catch up with predators who are smart enough to keep their actions just above board. AND I'D WIN. I don't care how many have been caught while allowing the others to use this place as a staging ground. How many have eluded this strategy? We are not bait and we shouldn't be expected to be. Boot them out of here and let them go someplace else, the lawmen can follow them to the darkweb. That's my grievance, I've waited long enough for results.
And for any financial argument, which is just an absurd notion, if a site needs a population of garbage people to stay afloat because they're afraid of getting a reputation as being "ban heavy," then it either shouldn't exist or it should allow the community to police itself by removing the same under-addressed pleasantry rules. It's that simple.
One has been here a year despite awareness of their pedophilic nature. I know this because I saw that the comment was removed by staff. It was an uncoerced and non-entrapment related admission that they groomed their children into incest. Why are they still here? Was that not enough because maybe the children are fictional or no children were harmed? Then they should just be banned for being disgusting, the law ain't after them in that case. It doesn't take a year to find out which one they are. How about we make some criminalizing legislation that says you want to roleplay as a creep, then you are. Oops there go all the convenient, unnecessary protections afforded to canine excrement.
