I hate DIY!

I went to the hardware store today because I wamted to hang up my hand mirror. The guy gave me a knock off version of command strips. They looked simple emough. Just stick one side to the wall and the other to the mirror. Well i followed the instructions but when I tried to take the morror off to use it. Like he said I should be able to do. It clean ripped the strips off the wall stripping the paint several layers down off the wall with it! I am so angry right now !😠😠😠 . Ive had to put a pictute over it for now. But at some point im going to have to put a layer or two of filler on the wall just so I can make it level enough to put more paint on. Then im going to have to repaint the wall!! .😠😠😠.
