I used to, when I was single and dirt poor. I used to sow the holes in my socks.

@calicuz I did too and usually ended up with a little lump that rubbed a blister on my feet. I think that’s why I stock up on socks when I find some good ones on clearance. Probably have a lifetime supply now.
