Anyone ever actually used lavender oil on the skin to repel mosquito? [I Diy]

Recently bought a natural bug repellent but it has a lingering smell. It smells okay but I really don't like the lemon grass smell.

Any success with using lavender oil?

I've heard certain types have both repellent and medicinal properties, but not tried it. Geranium might work but its potent.

Skin So Soft, if Avon still makes it, is in the form of an oily spray. Mosquito's hate it apparently; we used to use it camping.

@iamnikki Skin So Soft you mean? If you contact Avon they should connect you with a representative in your area. That's how you'd get their products, just like with Mary Kay.
