I support the legalization of marijuana not because I wanna smoke but because I want people to shut up about it already.

Weed being illegal makes everyone wanna talk about how much weed they smoke. We get it, you smoke, you think it's cool, it's not. Is it bad? No. But WHY do you need to make it into a huge thing? Smoke, enjoy it, have fun, but stop trying to make everyone else be a part of it.

Drug policy in most countries is genuinely bizarre. Reasonably safe stuff is classified and things that millions die from (alcohol, especially) are acceptable.

However, you can lay your hands on most illegal drugs fairly easily, and marijuana probably easiest of all. Conviction rates are low and most law enforcers turn a blind eye. What exactly are people moaning about? It wouldn't make that much difference if it actually were legal. Apart from removing a reason to moan.
