How can I handle having several hobbies without it becoming a problem?

My hobbies are trains (lifelong railfan), paleontology, zoology, astronomy, geography, science fiction, fantasy, music, video games, and history. I bought a WWII book almost a week ago and there is a book on the Cold War I would like to read. The history I did read before was American Civil War history.

I love fictional universes my favorite franchises are:

Star Wars. Mainly the first six movies plus the original expanded universe (now called Legends).

Mortal Kombat. There are multiple MK timelines my favorites are the MK9 timeline, the original timeline, the cinematic universe (which so far includes the most recent two movies), then the newest timeline where MK1 (2023 game is set.

I like Independence Day, mainly the first movie as well as the tie in material.

I also like Sonic. I want to play some more Sonic games as well as see the movies. I would also like to read the IDW comics. I enjoy reading lore.

I know the saying is quality over quantity. I want to keep an open mind but I don't want my interests to all implode. I don't want this to stress me out.

Hobbies are time fillers. Managing them involves at least allowing all the areas of your life such as sleep relaxation and relationships as well as work. There is time for all of these in a balanced life. If you find that your interests are interfered with by any of these other important areas then that is your clue that you are over indulging in your hobbies.
