Have a new slab of wood to work with, it is a live edge pippy oak board, will be first time using it, but hopefully the grain will look amazing finished, just need to look about filling in the tiny holes, do i need to? Going to have a look shortly
Its large. Id fill the holes. Main reasons being that whatever you make - its gonna last forever. Eventually dust will settle in those holes, (and be hard to clean put), and take away from its lustrous beauty.
I once had an entire tree trunk of apple wood. I never did anything with it...but it moved with me out to Michigan. I had plans...they just never happened.
