I used to always tell everyone that I didn't have a creative bone in my body, but my daughters didn't believe me, so once in a while, they would buy things that they thought would get me into being creative. 🙂
I still have coloring books I have not opened, and I always tell myself I should, but I am just not that interested in them right now. 🤷♀
This last Christmas, my daughters tried agin and they got a diamond gem art kit for me. I told them it was nice of them, but maybe they should do it and then give me the finished product. I really just wasn't interested. Then a strange thing happened as I watched them work on this kit. It looked easy. It looked fun. It started haunting my dreams until I decided to give it a try. I love it. ❤
It got my creative juices going after many decades of nothing. 🙂
I finished this one, and I have started a unicorn one. I have also started working on latch hook again. I'm not sure why I want to be creative now, but it has done wonderful things for my mood and mind.🙂

@NamesBatty Just be sure to stop and put it away for a while if it starts feeling like it's getting to be "not fun anymore". You don't want to burn out on it...
@NamesBatty it's great that but only did you find something you enjoy but something you can share that helps with the anxiety and doesn't need a script lol
