I need a hobby to pass evenings

But my general anxiety and moderate depression makes it hard

I need a hobby that
1. Doesn't cost much
2. Doesn't feel like a waste of time (like doong jigsaws. I have no more room on my walls, or
anyone to gift, but knowing I'm gonna put the pieces into pieces makes me think "why bother?"
3. Sports don't matter to me ynless I'm actively playing, but my health is too bad to do so
4. I can't draw or paint, so it feels like a waste of paper and utensils.

Basically: I need a something that actually matters, but can be done whenever I feel like it. Not when it needs to be done.

@StygianKohlrabi I can't go for walks bc my back hurts. I have bought something that lets me walk in my own livingroom, but there are too many distractions for me to do so (so far)

I hate my body too much to go swimming in a pool, and anthoritis won't let me swim outside even during summer.

@TheRealBarbossa walking outside is the same movement as walking on a treadmill so I only use it in the winter and unless it's severe pain its prolly gonna help your back

the thing about exercise it helps most if you stick to it

@StygianKohlrabi 5 min of walking outside. = My back hurts so much I don't even know if I can make itback home. That's why I bought my stepmaster a couple of weeks ago.

@TheRealBarbossa I started running miles and don't quote me on this but it increased my pain tolerance in general. I stepped on a brad and went for a long run. pain was gone. dentist did a filling without numbing. no serious discomfort.

@StygianKohlrabi I don't mind pain, but when it literally keeps me from moving my leg it's a problem

I know it sounds like I'm making excuses, but that's not the case, sadly
