Have you re-entered a hobby you once had 20+ years ago then 'packed away' but kept 'just in case'?

I have two that I 'packed away' when my kids starting coming along in the late 1990's - model trains and being a techno/trance/rave 'home dj' (plus going to raves, etc.)

The model train one I stopped doing when my kids came along over 25 years ago and packed away. Last year I re-entered the hobby since I now own my own house.

The rave EDM one is still packed away. I have all my 1990's and early 2000's EDM vinyl, my two SL-1200 Mk2 decks, mixer, even my Tascam dual DAT unit (DAT is proper digital recording for audio - not compressed mp3), but having done any 'mixing' or bought any new EDM vinyl for about 20 years. Haven't been out to any raves, concerts, music venues, etc. since the late 1990's mostly because my shiftwork job prevents having a social life with 'normal people'. ;-) I always went to raves by myself, never made friends there, or linked up with anyone for seggs, etc.

One hobby I've never stopped doing is building electronics stuff, and creating things. That was my original first hobby started in the early 1980's. The other one is my interest in working on my own cars, specifically classic Saab cars from the 1980's and 90's (I drive one - a 1992 2.1 4 door sedan which was 1 owner before I bought it in 2019), I got into that one 'late' (early 2000's) though.

Sadly neither of my ex's ever showed any interests in my, err, interests and my 2nd ex used to actively attack anything I was interested in calling it 'shit' and 'worthless' and 'pointless' any time I tried, same as she used to attack me any time I attempted to be romantic and thoughtful to show I cared. Glad I left her in 2018.

My hobbies/interests are basically just my ways to cope with not being normal (I'm neuro-divergent aka -atypical) and heavily introverted and non-social.

Do you ever look back on old hobbies you had, or might still do, or like but currently don't do, or used to like and have got back into?

I used to go fishing before I was married. My wifes "personality" wasnt suited to the outdoors.. Or quiet for any length of time.. Or Patience. Once the kids came along there was no time anyway. But we had intended to do the big coastal roadtrip in retirement. And I had bought a couple of folding seats and a couple of collapsible rod and reel sets, "Just in case". And in the last year, the idea has been growing that I will take fishing up more seriously. So I have been accumulating some kit on line and once I get a couple of medical issues sorted out I am going to give it a serious go. Maybe even reframe that round OZ trip as an extended solo fishing trip..😷
I don't know if it was 20 years but I just got back into photography in 2016 after many years.
