Impressed by Yamaha Guitars

I've been playing electric guitar for around 20 years now. I started out with this crappy stagg strat copy guitar that would break if you'd sneeze at it and this Park ? Marshall copy amp with a single speaker and a broken pot. Back then i would never have imagined i'd play a real Marshall tube amp. I have plenty of Fenders and Gibsons but now I bought a Yamaha Revstar... I had no high nor low expectations but man these are Les Paul killers. The build quality is amazing and they are even heavier than a real Les Paul which might turn some people off but i like it. Tuned the thing to B standard Played some Celtic Frost/Triptykon and it stays in tune perfect. And what did i do then ? Got another...

Revstar looks like it could be fun. Pricey though.

I have an Aria PE series, its an older one I bought used. Smooth like butter. Action set very low, fun to play.

I have been looking at the Yamaha BB435 5 string bass, quality looks amazing.

@JamesBugman They come in prices. I have a standard which is around 800 but there is also a pro at 1800 and an element at around 400 in euros ofc

I have a Yamaha 12 string. Nice guitar, I’ve had it for along time.

I have a Yamaha 12 string acoustic. Haven`t picked it up in years.
If Bob Dylan and Paul Simon both played Yamahas, that's good enough for me!

My favorite guitar remains my mid-1970s Univox Les Paul copy.

@ChipmunkErnie Oh yeah Univox guitars are so cool. What do you expect when Elvis and Kurt Cobain play em.

i bought a yamaha pacifica once cause it was beautiful
bloody low E string wouldn't stay in the nut though 😕

Heavier than an LP? LP is like picking up an air conditioner. Interesting. But I am primarily a drummer anyway.

Good enough for Nathan East.
