Training and Teddy bear making....

As I prepare for this new arrival. I have chosen to hone in on the current skills and resources I have.

I am aware that dogs aren't always the best at adjusting to changes, especially in regards to attention, routine, sounds and smells.
I purchased this little dolly and have been getting Bruno familiar with not having so much of my attention.

I remind him he's still my first boy but new baby will need so extra tlc for a while.

So he's learning to ask before jumping up on the sofa.
He's sniffing and licking dolly's hand he's also letting dolly stroke him.

Today was the second day he waited for me to give him permission to sit with me on my lap while holding baby.

I'm very proud of him.

This second photo
Is of a teddy bear I have sewn for a colleague s newborn baby boy. Jack.

It's no bigger than my palm but I'm glad I could prepare something special for him.

I hope he likes it. ❤

What do you think?

What a cute little Teddy Bear! And I must say, Bruno is being an awesomely GOOD boy!

My best tip for you, with a newborn, is that if your baby is crying RIGHT after he has been well fed, burped, and diaper changed, then it is likely he has peed AGAIN. I remember as a new mother being utterly shocked that I could have JUST changed his diaper, and yet he had wet himself AGAIN. 🤣🤣🤣

@4meAndyou I guess none of my family members have had them. Never noticed a bad smell...

@Mellowgirl If the trash is taken out daily, no problem. Some homes have to hold onto their trash until weekly trash pickup.
