Sadly I got sick before I heard about geocaching, I wish I had the strength and energy to do it.

@NativePortlander1970 I am so, so sorry to hear that. Btw, my hometown is Portland.
@MeowsoliniReturns Thank you 馃鉂わ笍 I miss Portland terribly, I moved away 25 years ago, a very long story, and have regretted it each and every day since.

@NativePortlander1970 I moved away too. I miss it so much!
@MeowsoliniReturns I don't know whay I miss more, Portland Courthouse Square, and all of DownTown as a whole, waking up to Mt. Hood, Multnomah Falls, the coast, or enjoying the full #12 trip on TriMet from PDX International to Forest Grove.

@NativePortlander1970 Yeahhhh!! Such a unique city! I worked downtown for years and loved it.
@MeowsoliniReturns When I heard that Portland sold TriMet out to a private cali firm in the early 00's I was like WTF? And when they took away fareless square in 2009 and nearly doubled the fares I saw red. I was at the Elk enjoying a qp w/cheese and fries on a dsy off when Keanu and River were filming their scene for Idaho, Gus offered me a gig to be one of the street kid extras, but I turned it down, I was working a steady job and didn't want to risk it.
@MeowsoliniReturns LOL I forgot, I had to transfer to the #57 on 5th DownTown or I'd end up in Tualatin.

@NativePortlander1970 Wow!! Such memories you have! I didn't know that Tri Met sold out or got rid of fareless square. Ugh!! I do know the city has changed a lot though.
MeowsoliniReturns51-55, F
@NativePortlander1970 Ahhhhh not Tualatin!!! Lol
@MeowsoliniReturns LOL Indeed, but I did love shopping at the Burlingame Freddy's, as well as Tigard too
@MeowsoliniReturns By what I have seen on the news, any by friends still out there, by quite a lot. I blame Vera Katz, the New York carpetbagger, if she had not invited all the calis up during the 90's dot com boom, Portland would not have been so drastically changed, I also blame that abominable show, Portlandia.

@NativePortlander1970 Yep!! I too, hated that show.
